ABOUT
In 2021, we launched "Wokashina Tobikata," a unique tent sauna experience in Chogen no Sato, Tokuji, Yamaguchi City. Starting with a single tent, we've leveraged Tokuji's abundant natural resources to create a destination that invites visitors to explore its beauty.
In June 2024, "Wokashina Tobikata" reemerged as "VIEHÄttÄVÄ," aiming to immerse you in Tokuji's pristine nature — a catalyst for regional revitalization.

Why TOKUJI ?
Tokuji lies nestled in the mountains of northern Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. With a population of fewer than 5,000 and over 55% elderly, it epitomizes rural Japan. Its sauna tradition dates back centuries, with a stone bath, akin to today's saunas, constructed 900 years ago to rejuvenate tree fellers — a rare, still-functional Cultural Property.
Located in Tokuji's most scenic area, our facility is Japan's pioneering forest therapy base, scientifically recognized for its healing effects.
