VIEHÄttÄVÄ has two types of private saunas.
Both allow for self - löyly — the infusion of steam — while the fire-heated stove warms you to the core. Sauna temperatures typically range between 70-90°C (160-200°F), and you can control the moisture level through löyly as well.
Whether you’re lost in thought or chatting with friends, Tokuji’s saunas provide a special retreat. Enjoy a relaxing time in a private indoor sauna where you can experience the sauna, cold bath, and fresh air bath, all surrounded by nature.

Immerse yourself in nature with our outdoor sauna experience featuring the MORZH sauna tent. Warm up by the fire, cool down in the river, and relax under the sun. This ultimate nature experience will help you forget the hustle and bustle of daily life. For the aromatic water used in löyly, we use “kawaraketsumeicha,” a specialty tea from Tokuji known for its health benefits.

Our signature dish, Spice Curry, crafted with over 10 meticulously chosen spices, offers a flavor you'll find irresistible after your sauna experience. Additionally, we feature a variety of dishes made with local specialties from Tokuji, alongside refreshing home-made cola and ginger ale - perfect companions for your post-sauna relaxation.

Booking Terms
We only accept reservations online. Reservations cannot be made by phone.
Please check the date and time on a booking page and make a booking in advance.
Our saunas are available for private use only.
We may close the sauna depending on the weather on the day (rain, strong winds).
If we close the sauna, we will notify you by email by 5pm the day before.
Admission Policy
There are no bathing facilities such as showers or baths.
＜VIEHÄttÄVÄ will not allow the following people to use the facility＞
・Drunk people, people associated with organized crime or antisocial groups, people with infectious diseases, people who have been prohibited from bathing by a doctor, people who cannot bathe or use the toilet on their own
＜VIEHÄttÄVÄ prohibits the following actions.＞
・Any actions that may be considered dangerous or a nuisance to other customers, bathing after drinking alcohol, or any other illegal actions
If any of the above violations are discovered, you will be asked to pay the fee and leave the facility immediately.
We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, theft, or loss that occur at the facility.
